Thanks for an unforgettable weekend. The walk
around the mountains, the figs and tomatoes harvest, mass, the
market and the camping lessons, were greater than ever with your
company.
It feels as if we had travelled with you a bit, and enjoyed so
much your wonderful pictures and stories. We felt really
honoured with your visit. You left us with a happy and relaxed
feeling.
We hope that you enjoyed the different surprises that we arranged
for you, especially the Andes illuminated by an autumn dusky sun,
the hairy spider, [the fly past] and the 5.4 degrees
earthquake... just a small goodbye surprise!!!
See you someday, somewhere, hopefully sooner than later...

Hello fellow travelers, My wife and I were honeymooning at the
Grand Canyon the end January 2010 when we saw your setup at the
campground. 1 year later... for no particular reason... I've finally
looked you up. Are you still in Argentina? A few years ago I biked
from Salta to Tucuman. Have you guys made it into this region?
Argentina is a BEAUTIFUL country and I hope you're enjoying/enjoyed
it.

coming to the conclusion that we too must get more engaged in life

Hi Greg and Emma,
Good to read all about your trip on the web - like many other
observers, we are very jealous, but shouldn't complain under the
circumstances. .. Whatever, best wishes for the rest of the trip. ..
Glad you enjoyed the race - I know how you feel as I competed a few
times in Canada - not for 3 days [4 days !] though,
although a colleague did the Yukon Challenge - 750 km race from
Whitehorse to Dawson I think - you will probably know all about it.
We too spent a few days at Caulker Caye; and Francesca and I must
have been very close to you when we took a snorkelling trip to a
reef near San Pedro. Who knows, you could have been those divers
beneath us? It was fantastic, notably swimming with sting rays at
your fingertips.
We are now heading back North , but meeting you and other like
minded souls has got us planning a longer trip down the Americas -
another day /year though. We'll be following your progress in the
meantime and we'll looking for tips. Hope you enjoy Tikal as much as
we did.
Best wishes and good luck

Dear
Grey and Emma We have been meaning to email you for such a long
time. We are soooo enjoying your website and following your trip -
what an adventure - you are having such a magnificent time and
thanks for sharing it with us, we just love following your route.
Your photos are amazing and the website is outstanding - technology
today -when I went travelling they still had aerograms!!
... Seeing your pictures made us realise that we haven't really
had that much snow, however as I am sure you have heard we are
having one of the coldest and whitest winters for 30 years. Have
enjoyed sledging, making igloos and snowmen and of course the kids
loved missing school!!! ...
Take care and enjoy the adventure and keep us posted.

... We had a blast at the races. Nicole came in first, I came
in 4th, and Lori came in 5th, out of 8 purebred teams. So we were
pretty impressed with how hard they worked.
Once again we reunited with other mushing friends, and made
some new ones. We spent the whole weekend down at the race site and
once finished our set, jumped in to help out the bigger teams get
set up and safely to the start line. Too much fun!
I have sent your website out to some family members so they can
enviously follow your travels! My dad has alot of extended family in
England and has always wanted to get over there...maybe this will
inspire him to go live a little.
We truly enjoyed your company and if you are ever back this way
for sure stop by...stay awhile. If the rooms are full there is
plenty of acreage for a tent or two!
Good luck on your travels and we will certainly be following
along as well and taking in your adventurous stories.

I thought I'd send a pic of the Land Rover I owned for 22 years.
Sold it last year and have missed it ever since. I restored it back
in 1992 with the intention of taking it on an overland journey.
Ended up getting married, having kids and finding that it was too
small for the journey! We still have a Westfalia Sycro campervan
however which has been used for a great many adventures around
Canada and the States. I'm in the process of trying to find and
import a 300 TDI from the UK so that once again, I can have a trusty
Land Rover again.
I wanted to wish you luck on your big journey. I'll forward your
site link to my motorhead/overland pals so that we can all share in
your adventure.

Lovely to hear from you! I have been telling so

... The snow here has been really great and a lot of fun, and
for the UK we have actually had quite alot. The hills are very
steep where we live and so driving has been challenging. For
the most part we have been wandering around pulling the sledge
behind us. It has all gone now, but we are expecting another
dump tomorrow.
